The Andalucian Institute of Arts and Letters is a public law entity connected to the Andalucian Ministry of Culture. Their main role is to develop and implement support programmes for culture. Among others, it also has a responsability to support audiovisual productions and the film industry in the region.
Junta de Andalucia provides support to feature films, short- and documentary productions as well as animation.Their support can be given as developmental, production, co-production, distribution, or for the promotion of film and audiovisual works.
The fund was established in 2000.

Cine-Regio representative - MRS. Victoria Fernandez Andrino
Victoria Fernández Andrino has a degree in Audiovisual Studies from the University Complutense of Madrid (UCM) and a postdegree in Film & Audiovisual Heritage by UCM and the Bologna University in Italy. She has been working for the Audiovisual Department of the Andalusian Regional Ministry of Culture since 2000. Presently, Victoria Fernández Andrino is the head of programmes at the Audiovisual Department of the Empresa Publica de Gestión de Programas Culturales in the Andalusian Regional Ministry of Culture in Seville.
