Viken Filmsenter

Viken filmsenter is the largest regional film centre in Norway and includes the counties Viken and Oslo in the South-Eastern part of the country. We finance the development and production of short films, documentaries and games (annual budget is 10 million/approx. EUR 1M and it is a selective scheme). We also offer development programs, workshops and seminars for the professional industry and young talent. To apply for funds from Viken filmsenter the proposed project or the key persons involved must be associated with the region.

Cine-Regio representative - Mr Ånund Austenå

Ånund Austenå, born 1964, has been managing director for Viken filmsenter since 2014. He has previously worked with documentary film production, both as a director and editor, and has worked with talent development for young semi-professionals. He holds a MA in Visual Anthropology from the University of Manchester.
