Danish regional film fund FilmFyn was established in 2003 and covers the area of Fyn (Funen) in the very heart of Denmark. Owned by nine municipalities, our goal is to create local growth, increased visibility and cultural pride revolving around film and television series.

FilmFyn holds a strong track record of investing in more than 95 successful productions so far, the majority being in national high quality features and tv-series, many of which have enjoyed great international attention. 

The annual budget is €4.7M of which more than €3.7M is available through rolling selective funding schemes for features, documentaries, shorts and tv-series. Assessment criteria is based on artistic qualities and the production’s ability to strengthen and collaborate with the regional talent and industry.

Cine-Regio representative - Mr. Klaus Hansen

For almost 25 years, Klaus Hansen has worked as CEO of The Danish Producers Association (representing games, tv and film production companies). He has represented Danish producers in international organizations, representing producers, among others in the ex. comm. of FIAPF, many years as President of CEPI and co-founder of the European game developers association EGDF.

Klaus has a law degree, with competences within lobbying, board work, negotiations, regulatory frameworks, etc.

As of February 1st 2019, he was appointed CEO of FilmFyn.
