ALCA - Région Nouvelle Aquitaine

A proactive development policy for the AV and image industry since 1985 has led the Région Nouvelle Aquitaine to establish a fund supporting the creative and AV production industries. The fund supports short films, fiction feature films, animation, documentaries and av works (broadcasting). The objective of the fund is to develop the professional production as well as accomodate shooting in the Nouvelle Aquitaine region, including promoting the creation of skilled jobs in the region. It is a selective fund with artistic and cultural criteria, criteria for content and an economic assessment related to cultural industries.

The fund is part of an agreement with the National Center for Cinematography and Moving Image (CNC), the Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs of Aquitaine (Ministry of Culture and Communication) and the departments of the Charente, Charentes-Maritimes, Dordogne, Landes, Lot-et-Garonne and Pyrenees Atlantiques.
